Alebrije alligator carved in wood

I want to recommend collaboration with Saulo on making a custom Alebrije! He made me a version of a fox I found in past sales reviews, gave me input along the way, was responsive to my input and ultimately created something unique with his own artistic flourish. He was impeccably communicative and on time with the project, sent photos of the process which I cherish and I LOVE my curiously poised fox, enjoying his presence and vibrant colors that go in my living room. So fun to see what comes out of collaboration and Saulo seems to enjoy that process too. Consummate professional artist.

He spends the entire shipment process keeping you informed, and is also able to answer any questions immediately as well. And the piece itself is beyond gorgeous. It arrived in perfect condition, and looks even more amazing in person than the online photos can do justice to. his skillfully shaped jack rabbit Alebrije is vibrant and captivating with his accented gold eye and shapely geometric ears. Saulo even included a matching wooden painted tag with a painted personalized note with meanings and greetings that is worth keeping. He deserves a service award for communication around a very difficult delivery for DHL since package requires signature and was tough to get that waived, but finally our collaboration worked and the rabbit arrived beautifully packaged and unharmed. It is refreshing to be able to buy art directly from the artist and hear about his creative process. Highly recommend his work and customer service!
